The quickest way
For anything about a transaction that has just happened — a deposit that has not arrived, a withdrawal that failed, a wrong amount — call us straight away rather than emailing. The sooner we look, the easier it is to trace.

Matasia branch or Karen branch.
Bring your ID and the transaction reference.
What to have ready
Whoever you speak to will ask for these, so having them to hand saves a call back:
- The date and rough time of the transaction, and which branch.
- The amount, and the phone number or account it was going to.
- The reference on your receipt, or the M-Pesa / Airtel Money confirmation code.
- Your name and ID number, so we can confirm we are talking to the right person.
We will not ask you for your PIN, your password, or a one-time code sent to your phone. Nobody from Wanjibots will ever ask for those, on any channel. If someone does, they are not us — hang up and call the numbers on this page.
How long we take
| What | You should hear back |
|---|---|
| Phone and WhatsApp, during opening hours | Immediately, or a call back the same day |
| Email enquiry or quotation request | Within 1 working day |
| Transaction dispute or suspected error | Acknowledged within 1 working day; resolved within 7, or told why it will take longer |
| Formal complaint | Acknowledged within 2 working days; answered within 14 |
| Data access or deletion request | Within 30 days, as the Data Protection Act requires |
Making a complaint
If something went wrong, tell the branch first — most things are settled at the counter the same day. If it is not settled, or you would rather not raise it at the branch, email wanjibotslimited1@gmail.com with the word COMPLAINT in the subject line. It goes to management, not the branch.
Tell us what happened, when, which branch, what you would like done, and how to reach you. You will get an acknowledgement with a reference number, and a written answer.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you are free to take the matter further:
- Mobile money or bank agency transactions — your provider (Airtel Money, M-Pesa) or your bank, who can also trace the transaction from their side.
- Personal data — the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC), Kenya.
- Consumer matters — the Competition Authority of Kenya's Consumer Protection division.
We would rather resolve it ourselves, but we will not stand in your way, and we will give you copies of our records of the transaction if you ask.
